Christiansted is a great
example of the Danish colonial architecture you will
Government House is one of the largest governor’s
residences in the Lesser Antilles,
however, the capital of the
Danish West Indies was moved to St Thomas in 1871.
The boardwalk in Christiansted wanders along the edge of
Christiansvaern, St. Croix
Steeple Building, used to be a Lutheran Church.
It was constructed in 1753
and is now the home of a
National Park museum.
