The island’s only hospital provides round-the-clock emergency room
care, including advanced cardiac treatment. Some very serious
illnesses require an airlift to hospitals in Puerto Rico or the United
States mainland. While you can be treated at the emergency room for
minor illnesses such as the flu or colds, a better course of action
would be to use one of the physicians listed below. The hospital holds
national accreditation by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of
Health Care Organizations. |
