Day Trips and Island Hopping
During a visit to St. Croix you may
want to take the opportunity to visit another close by island or two. St.
Thomas and St. John are easily reached by ferry or by commuter airline. You
can even combine a flight on a plane with a ferry to reach the British
Virgin Islands...all in one day!
Taking a Ferry
SeaTrans will
depart the St. Thomas waterfront at 9:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Friday through
Monday. The ferry will leave Gallows Bay, St. Croix, at 7:30 a.m. and 3:45
p.m. Friday through Monday. The trip takes about an hour and a half.
Round-trip tickets run $90
for adults and $80 for children. One-way tickets are $51 for adults and $45 for

Airplane
